Subject: What's the cheapest way to send money to Germany?

Volks, I need to send some money to my buddy in Germany for payment on a Volkswagen LT DoKa 4x4. PayPal charges 3.9%, the bank is about C$45 fee on this end and 10€ fee on the other end. Cheques are held for weeks... as the Capital One ads say "hands in your pocket"

The fellow I am sending the money to is my friend, so there is no trust issues... I'm just looking for a relitively quick and inexpensive way (for both sides) to send money to Germany from Canada.

Cheers!

David Marshall
