Here's that link Sam. Lots of good stuff on the site. I do think several people misunderstood what I was saying though. I didn't mean to imply that if one battery was bad it would absolutely take out the second. Batteries do tend to want to equalize themselves, and a bad battery can deteriorate a good one. Relays are also not true battery isolators, which is another point I wanted to make. A true battery isolator will shut down a battery when it reaches a certain minimum voltage. This by itself can save a battery and $$. Having a good metering system, I think is key in any case.
