Hi Rebecca.

That's not a cable, its a pipe for the hydraulic fluid that is shared between the hydraulic clutch actuator and the braking system.

The clutch is not adjustable.

The slave cylinder may benefit from bleeding if the symptoms include an ability to pump the clutch and have it release more completely, but otherwise you may be ready for a new clutch.

What are your symptoms?
