Hi Zoltan,

The swivwl mechanism is composed of three parts:

1. The base is welded to the fender well between the original seat tracks. This base has a circular track and 4 studs sticking upwards in the center to hold the top plate down. 2. The middle bit sits in the round track and has a set of seat tracks for the seat to fit into. It's open in the middle. You don't slide the seat into the track until the top cover is installed. 3. The top cover plate sandwiches the middle bit in place, and is held down with 4 nylock nuts.

Without the bottom swivel base there's no way the seat will be able to rotate properly.
