Vanagonites, I took the wife's new Jetta TDI in for the 5K service yesterday. Waiting in the service line was a jaw-dropping Westy Vanagon. It is painted silver, (stock color?) & has been dressed out w/Euro bumpers, air dam, turn signals etc. in black, and huge mirrors, color matched to the silver. The vehicle was clean-clean-clean! All this took place at Terry Volkswagon in Lynchburg,VA. The service sheet on the windshield was made to a Mr. Pevala, on the list perhaps? I asked the mechanics standing nearby if anyone at the dealership knew anything about maintaining a Vanagon & a young looking fellow laughed & said "Yes...unfortunately" I take it that's pretty much the general attitude of VW dealerships in the US, accurate? I'd like to know more about all the Euro stuff on the silver beauty, available? $$$? How about the neat-o giant mirrors? Thanks, Ron Komoroski
