Volks,

If all goes well this weekend, I will be the proud owner 1992 Volkswagen LT45 Double Cab 4x4, with a 2.4L turbo Diesel engine which is currently located in Germany - for those who don't know what it is, picture a more square Vanagon that is about 25% larger and could legally haul a 2000kg payload in the bed. It is too large to go across Canada on a train, so I have to get it sent from Bremerhaven Germany to Tacoma WA via the Panama Canal. So, if all again goes as planned, it will be arriving around the end of May or early June.

So. is anyone interested in a small (medium or large?) get together in the Seattle area at that time? Not sure what we would all do - perhaps there is a good pub or restaurant that we can have a meal and a beverage or two at and compare notes?

David Marshall
