Hi,

I have done it like VW put headrest on rear seats of Westy Eurovans. I found Vanagon headrest with plastic insert (I saw the drawing on EKTA for europeans models).

Basically, I put metal tubes (welded) on plates. Those tubes (found at the hardware store) with a notch for the plastic inserts. I have made four notch in the plywood of the seat, then screw (metal bolts for wood furniture that are flat on surface) the plates with tubes and put back the back lining of the seat. So the metal tubes and plates are flat on the wood.

With a file I have modified a little the post of the headrest to be able to remove those before going to bed.

Has anybody put some type of headrest in the rear seat of their Westy? If so can you pass along some ideas on how you did it?

Please cc me, I'm in digest mode.

Thanks, Bryan --
