Wise ones! Every time I fill up I still get a slight gas smell although I have already replaced one broken plastic tee going into the tank. Last time I noticed that all the braided lines from the tank and from both tees are soaked in gas and thus the smell. Could it be that all these braided lines are now crumbling? This is a 1984 Vanagon and those lines are original. Will ordinary vacuum hose be good enough for replacements or should I replace with gas-line hose? Thanks Sam |
