Subject: Brake Upgrade Success + (oops...) Carat Rims and Tires F/S
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

If you're eager to spend loads of money on upgrading your front brakes - do what I did! Seriously: I waited until my front brakes were essentially gone (boy, that's NOT a nice sound - let me tell ya) and popped for the 'big brake kit' that GoWesty offers that includes larger rotors/pads, new front hubs + bearings/seals/bolts that (as they advertise...) roughly doubles the van's stopping power. They weren't wrong: after the pads had a few miles to wear in, I'm noticing the front of the van actually 'diving' down upon braking more than any of my vans every have - it's surprising! Just thought I'd put in a good word for that setup. Consequently, the larger rotors prohibit the use of 14" rims, so I'm going ahead and selling a spare set of 'Carat' 5-spoke rims/centercaps and tires (I'm currently using MB 16's). The rims are in great shape; the only blemishes are the little marks on the outer edges left over from wheel balancing weights attached at some point in the past, and minimal curb-rashes. The tires are Wildcat Radial LT's 195/75/R14 with ~80% tread remaining. I think most people offer these for $400. Send me an email if interested. --Todd, Woodinville WA91 Orly Weekenderdermultivan@hotmail.com _________________________________________________________________ Discover the new Windows Vista http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=windows+vista&mkt=en-US&form=QBRE
