I'm always a sucker for an oil/additive thread......

It would be interesting to try this sh...er, stuff on an engine that is near the end of it's life (like the one in my wife's 86 Westy). Heck, I'll be the guinea pig. So, what is better, slick-50 or tuf-oil, or other PTFE sh..I mean stuff? I'll add it and report back.

Ok, so I will tell a story about slick-50, and no one will ever buy a car from me again. ;) I had an '84 Subaru with a very vanagon-like lifter click (common problem on those VW rip-off engines). I added Slick-50 (or something similar with teflon). Sounded like a champ, and I sold the car.

If only VW engines were as reliable as Soobies!

Jon (ok, enough talk about oil...let's get back to the Sirius/XM merger thread. ;))
