The line is not the biggest problem
The fact that the ends need to be pressed on is.
Using hose clamps will work for about 5 minutes.
if you don't believe me, read Dennis's comments just after mine.

Using rubber PS lines has been listed in the archives several times.I was
regurgitating this.Not using my experience.I guess it must have failed for
the people who used this . Or they did not use fuel line.That was my
addition. However, rubber hose is used on both supply and return at the
pump. Got to provide a flexable link to the metal lines on the frame.I bet
hydraulic line will work and be easier than steel lines.This must be what
was being written in the archives.

I did not say to replace the ps rack with a manual rack.I only said to
remove the V-belt,didnt I?.The effort needed to use the non power steering
is not to great. The non v belt  power steering is used by many,including
myself.It is a reasonable fix.
