Chris: The dad (Doug, who I only met Friday) says the son has a truck of some sort for his daily driver (I asked if it would be a DD). It seems this camper will be used for the trip at least to see how he likes it and depending on the experience, he may keep it longer.

I also encouraged Dad to try it out and perhaps buy it from the son when he finishes the trip. Dad was obviously into the campers that I showed him. You all know, the Teutonic design and the everything in its place stuff. My guess is that Dad will show up at a camping event, see the Type 2s in action, see the community that they inspire, and start looking for one himself.
