Actually I want to replace my coolant hoses with new ones.  My metal
pipes are still in very good shape (believe it or not).  I'm just
wondering if the new hoses that are made for the plastic pipes fit, and
if not what do people use for those two coolant hoses on '84-85

I think your current hoses will fit.Those other hoses you mentioned are
for the plastic pipes and are larger in diameter. The stainless steel
replacement metal pipes are usually  the same diamter as the origional
steel tubes.If they were larger, the metal frame cross member and engine
compartment fire  wall, where the pipes fit through, would need to be
widened.
