Sure can't speak for him but can attest to his excellent work .... Leon Korkin is in L.A. and has done several subie conversions. He's on the subaruvanagon.com yahoo group list often. Real knowledgeable and does fantastic cabinet work as well. I drove one of his 2.2 converts in Moab and have not driven a van camper with smoother engine and shifting ... ever. Great power, very quiet, crisp shifting. He had shortened the shift rod that runs under the van, by I think, 8" and it made a huge difference. Very bright, innovative guy.
