I used standard VW 5mm Cloth Braided Fuel Hose, N0203551 on mine. Has worked fine for the 10 years, recently checked them , they still look brand new. The 5mm hose is very common, used on 61-74 Beetles, 61-71 Buses with the stock carb. -- Jim Thompson 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com *********************************** On 2/22/07, Sam Johnson <wrey45@yahoo.com> wrote: > > Wise ones! > Every time I fill up I still get a slight gas smell > although I have already replaced one broken plastic tee going into the > tank. > Last time I noticed that all the braided lines from the tank and from both > tees are soaked in gas and thus the smell.
