If one were to tap the hydraulic pressure from the test port on the transmission case in order to run a hydraulic motor, that is connected to the input of the front differential, and could govern the flow and rate of fluid transfer in order to increase and decrease speed, and attach an equalizing reversing valve to allow the shift linkage to allow for backing up it could be remotely possible. OR a heavy chain and sprocket set up bolted inside inner CV joints connecting the front and rear wheels together, with enough tensioners and idlers in place to take the slack out of the 28 (+-) miles of chain, it could be remotely possible. Too bad that ugly transmission is in the way of extending the pinion shaft out to attach a drive shaft. This would be a viable idea to go along with my bank of wind driven alternators on the roof that allows me to run my van on an electric motor once I get moving enough to spin the wind turbines, but low hung phone and hydro lines still present a p roblem. Cheers, Jeff.
