I'm sorry I haven't gone out to look (much winter in northern Maine, you know) but I'd say where there's a will there's a way.

One way might be to use a hacksaw and shorten an old wrench. Another might be to simply remove the brake master cylinder (at least partly) so that you can get to that switch a little easier.
