Subject: leaks leaks and more leaks -

. . . leaks leaks and more leaks - or is that "Vanagon Syndrome" ?

OK - I also get a gas smell for some time after I fill up; so I'll have my "VW guy" check it out. ALSO - is it common to leak power steering fluid? And does that fluid make a rainbow slick on the wet pavement like oil does?? Reason I ask, the nasty squeak when I turn the wheel was finally diagnosed as a nearly dry PSF container. It was filled last week and now not only is the shrill squeak-screech back, but the aforementioned rainbow pattern appeared on my wet concrete driveway . . ?? Any help/advice appreciated. ** Anna in Portland OR '86 Country Home camper 'Blue Mongrel' -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- - " Lord keep Your arm around my shoulder and Your hand over my mouth." -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -
