Hello all,

It has been a few years since i've been on the list,
but it is nice to see that it is still quite active.
My current question is that I am talking to someone
who has an '89 Wolfsburg GL passenger van about
trading springs because I want to lower my '84 westy
while he wants to raise his '89.  Questions:

* Will the springs from the '89 be too soft for my
'84, and ...
* Will my existing shock absorbers (oem) work with the
springs from the '89?

I searched the archives and didn't find anything
conclusive, and only have only found this link
regarding stock vanagon springs:

but it obviously doesn't mentione anything about ride
characteristics.

Does anyone have any experience with this?  Thanks,
