So... I have this buzzing noise coming from my engine compartment. It think it's most noticeable at an idle, especially if your sitting in the back seat. If I had to say, it seems worse on the passenger side, but I'm not sure about this. When the engine speed increases, the noise doesn't seem to change. Makes me think it's electrical? But it doesn't seem like its the fuel pump (it's buzzing when I go near it but not nearly this load), and I don't think it's the alternator either---when I open the engine compartment, it's difficult to isolate the buzzing since the engine noise overwhelms it. With the compartment closed, the noise comes through loud and clear. Turning on headlights (increasing load on the battery) makes the buzzing go down noticeably in pitch., at least at an idle (although I guess the idle rate is decreasing slight in this case too...) any ideas?
