I'm pretty sure that both kits are true bolt-ons, Tom. You will have to install wheel bearings in the hubs.

Given the price differential, I'd opt for the Van-Cafe Kit with stainless flex hoses all around. It should still come in at a similar price to Smallcar's with a significant upgrade in pedal feel.

I went through the parts catalogues at Bow Wow with Harold & Tim and have a list of Audi part numbers for calipers, rotors and pads, which is the direction I'll be going. I have had some experience with adapting parts and think its very doable. Probably cost the same in the end if you figure in the time, but............
