during the holiday storms that rocked the colorado front range, i had ample oppurtunity to work over my syncro and our 2000 jeep grand cherokee. the grand has newish michelin ltx m/s, the van has newish bfg all-terrains. i thought the van did way better in both heavy snow and on the snow covered highways. i've driven both in rough conditions before, but never side by side on the same day. i even went to an empty parking lot to test cornering (doughnuts).

syncros are rad.

the 2003 golf, with goodyear highway all-seasons, stays in the garage when it's rough out.
