But that's the problem.  Apparently enough people are NOT looking away but
in fact following with rapt attention.  If there was no audience the press
would be off doing something else.  So why is there an audience?

cover up the real issues.

Abysmal Treatment of combat-wounded veterans at Walter-Reed over a period of
two years.
Continuing massacre/genocide of civilians in Sudan by MOSLEM EXTREMISTS
Continuing murders of civilians in Iraq by MOSLEM EXTREMISTS both Sunni and
Shiite.
Amount of US debt held by foreign nations.
Chinese involvment in Sudan and other petroleum producing nations in Africa.
Continuing lack of enforcement of immigration statutes throughout the US.
Lack of denouncement of MOSLEM EXTREMIST activities around the world by
MOSLEM clerics in the US...Some say silence is the voice of complicity.
Government/religious-fanatacism supression of HPV innoculations for young
women.
Continuing failure to correct storm damage along the Gulf Coast, OUR gulf
coast.
Terrible state of the US economy and failure to correct ANY of the root
causes.
And of course the continuing hoodwinking of the American Public by the
current regime regarding world affairs including but not limited to invasion
of sovereign nations without cause.

But, hey, those subjects are too sensitive...lets get on with more
interesting foo-fa-raw such as artificial people in artificial circumstances
(Spears, Smith and so on).

If you're not outraged you simply have not been paying attention to the real
events of concern.

Does anyone know how much Chris in Chico got for his non westy syncro sold
recently?  Rumours abound.  Which snow tires do YOU use.  Haake's, BFGATKO,
Conti Contact, Vredestein or...do you carry chains, er sorry BenT, TIRE
chains in your van?
If you camp in your vanagon what non perishables do you carry on a rotating
permanent basis?  Instant Mashed Potatoes, Wolf Brand Chili, Ramen, Tang or
???  How many different sized fasteners are there on our vans and what size
are they?
