I bought one of these for my youngest daughter when she was away at college for a year. It was quite nice and eliminated the issue of dual systems.

I don't want to start a thread on this, but Pinnacle makes a Windows product of this nature - a slightly larger than thumb drive USB device let's you turn your laptop into a Digital TV, reviews can be found online, comes with an antenna. So, with this you could travel with a laptop, which many of us do, and have TV access when in range. There might be a couple of products, one with lesser capabilities than the one linked here.
