We are in the process of buying the aforementioned yacht to
liveaboard, and I want to install a proper seat at the helm station.
Right now the "seat" is just the end of the quarterberth, which
wouldn't be very comfortable. The swivel base I have would be perfect
for getting in and out by being able to rotate the seat, and allowing
access to the quarterberth, but I would like something that has better
support than a standard captain's chair - something that will hold me
in place when it gets rough. A good sports/rally type chair would be
nice. Any recommendations of a VW performance car chair that would fit
the swivel base?
