Subject: Install heater core in AC Flap Housing?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

Hi all.

It's warmer outside, the birds are tweeting. Time to get busy, and get dash job completed.

On that note....

I want to install a front heater core for future engine conversion to a Wasser. Currently have stock air cooled heater box PN:

251.259.113

It appears (Bentley) that Flap Housing is similar for AC and Wasser.

Can a stock Wasser heater core be installed into AC Flap Housing?

If so.....

Where is best place to drill (if needed) holes for heater core hoses?

I'll double check to see if those holes are already there from factory.

I imagine I could run heater core hoses down through stock AC heat conduit.

Thanks for any help!
