I've seen 7-8 vanagons here in the Jacksonville area (population approaching 1MM), and about that many T2. I may have the only syncro in the entire northeast part of the state of Florida. And unfortunately, the only shop that has not expressed reluctance to work on my van is over 40 miles away.

It gets lonely here!

all 5.8 gas guzzling liters of it.. the ford E250, that is :<) i towed my dads E420 down to him, the ford loaded with some vanagon parts i was dropping off for some folks down south and some furniture for my dads new place..and then towed the westy back.. the ford filled with parts from a '89 whitestar/wolfsburg van i stripped while i was down there..

first off let me say on the whole trip i saw absolutely ZERO vanagons. i did see one eurovan rialta with florida plates heading down south though.. that was it. as a known rule, the southeast is generally void of volkswagens...especially vw vans..

domestics rule down there.. especially pickup trucks..

anyway i spent time w/. family and relatives in atlanta and savannah..nice and warm there.. it was nice to be away from the cold.. but sucks to return to it.. i came back to a unplowed driveway of ice..

im ready for spring!
