FWIW, if you remove the rear seat cushion fabric to replace the foam (throw the fabric in the washer on gentle cycle and let air dry-it'll look like new) get the high density foam, not the cheap stuff. High density foam is more expensive, but if you use the cheap stuff you'll regret it, and it's a fair amount of work prying all those staples out to remove the fabric, you don't want to do it twice. I lived in a Chevy van the summer of 1979, had gotten a short term transfer to my company's office in Philadelphia, and was too broke to get a hotel room. Lived in a YMCA camp ground in Phoenixville, PA. The rate was $6.00 a night with electric! The real pain was that is was the second "gas crisis" of the 70's, and even though I was only 225 miles from home, you could only buy something like 5 bucks of gas at a time, which in a Chevy van with a V8 didn't get very far-usually just far enough to get in another gas line! Camp ground had a no long term policy, long term being over 7 days. So, every Saturday morning I'd pack up, check out, go do some shopping and come back, re-register and go back to my site! Only really bad weekend was one that it rained from Friday night to Monday morning, stayed in that van all weekend watched TV. Did meet some nice British folks that weekend, though, who were traveling in a Westy. Jeff
