Look, I'm the last person that needs to be fueling a fire like this on this
list. However, no matter who you believe, what side you lean to, or what
opinion you hold it boils down to this - regardless of if you think we are
causing, better yet accelerating, global warming or not, it only makes sense
that cleaner living is better living. You can't with any reasonable
conscience say that all the crap we spew into the air globally has no effect
on our environment - our Vanagons included (for content). I firmly believe
that we can't "kill" the earth - but we can kill our ability to live on it.
50 years ago smoking wasn't a health risk, but now we know it is.
Introducing a foreign substance into your body (the earth's atmosphere) must
have some effect. There is money and political power to be had on either
side of this coin - I'd rather err on the side of caution.
