I agree. Price is too high. But that's based upon the assumption that
the motor is truly toasted. From the way ad reads it looks like it has
an engine, but it needs "major engine work".
These vans are desirable for some as they are great candidates for
upgrade to turbo 1.6/1.9 diesels or better yet a TDI. They are also
great for converting to I4 gas engines as they c/w the required oil
pan carrier bar/mounts etc. Not sure what fair market value is, but
for the right person, they are a good find.
