I put Michelin Agilis 185R14s on my '81 7-passenger before I went to Death Valley in January '00. I thought they were great--compared to whatever worn- out (Michelin) I had before. Then I switched them to my '87 syncro. A year or so ago I thought they were riding "hard" even though they had good tread. Others have commented on that. I replaced them with Bus Depot Hankook 185R14s. Now looking back with comparison I can say the Agilis were NOT as good in snow. (No complaints about rain--what is that, here in Boulder? ;-) I still have the Agilis, back on my '81. Yes, they ride hard, still have tread, and are now seven years old. It's parked.... Anyway, I'd go with Hankook over Agilis again, for sure--and they are cheaper. Richard Boulder |
