Subject: CV boots does anyone make quality boots these days ?
Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

So last june I had a tranny rebuilt & asked the shop to replace any boots that looked short for life they found 1 ... well 30 days the right rear inner boot spun off that metal flange so they replaced it I belive that these were Febi branded well back in Jan 07 I was out with my part time mechanic doing some other work & we noted the left inner/outer started to tear so on a Sat we only had access to worldpac and a brand called Miestersatz so we put those on (http://www.bughaus.com/CV-Joint_Boot_Kit_-_251598201.htm)

well now I see 1 of these are torn $#@$%^$#&%^&

So now I decided this time to not just order blindly it looks like rockford cv boots appear to have a great number of good we references & the boot is made from a special plastic polmer http://www.rockfordcv.com/Bootkit_list_prices.htm#BK814-21
