I don't know about GTIs, but the Saab world is well-served by saabnet.com. The problem is, it's a quasi-commercial site sponsored in part by Saab USA, and well-moderated--read censored. Most of the posts here on vanagon.com would disappear from saabnet in an hour. And woe unto he who insults the mighty Saab! Ask how I know. What I like about the vanagon.com list is exactly the freedom of it, the fuzzy logic, the open quality, the off topic part--which is perhaps where this thread is going.
