I would think that going 'digital' would better serve the motor and avoid the heat.

Please, if anyone can convince me otherwise, I'll do that when my switch burns out again for the 3rd time. The switches must vary in quality. The price certainly does. $15.00 - $45.00 CDN. depending on if it is OEM or made in 'gosh knows where'
