Subject: Model Year Changes

Would some of you be able to note for me the differences, if any, between the '89 syncro Westfalias and the '90 syncro Westfalias? I seem to remember that the power windows and door locks were optional in '89 but became standard in '90? Anything else like that?

In acquiring a second Vanagon, my real interest has to do with absolute parts interchangeability between the two years; any notable exceptions? Thanks.

Bill
