Subject: Continuing Saga of Camper Gear Removal and Rust Repair
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Thanks all who have been helping me fix my van this "spring". That paint from PaintScratch.com matched pretty well. 1 can out of the 2 ordered did not work but they are sending a new one out. You can see the painted panel here at http://www.charlestownsoftware.com/vw/van.html . I repaired the hole behind the passenger wheel to the left of the sliding door and under the gas cap.

OK, on to the camping gear removal. I'm about half way there, the Propex stuff is really integrated and has added allot of complexity to this. While taking off the hose to the drain the connector shattered. A picture is here:

http://www.charlestownsoftware.com/vw/sink.html , does anybody have one of these?

Also, (don't even ask how I did this, it's too embarrassing) I yanked the wires out of the back of the connector for the Propex that connects to the thermostat. Any chance somebody has a wiring diagram of that or can take a picture for me? It's an older unit that was bought as a group purchase from this list back in the 90's.

It's getting ready to rain so the van is back in the garage for now.

Feel free to CC me, I'm in digest mode...

Thanks, Bryan
