My guess is the presence of propane is the issue. Could that be? I dunno. I do know that to the best of my knowledge full Westys, or rather any vehicle with propane tanks cannot travel through the Lincoln Tunnel and Holland Tunnel entering NYC. At least that was the case when I lived there according to signage. Kind of a PIA travelling north to the Bridge. You would see those LARGE RVs used for TV and Film shoots in NYC with "NO PROPANE ON BOARD" written on them. I always assumed that was so those RVs could travel through the tunnels. Somewhere someone decided the propane was a greater liability than gasoline I'm guessing. I wonder what the fine $$ would be if you're snagged in the tunnels with propane on board. And I'd be curious to hear others' experiences.
