Welcome aboard, Volks.

Why not follow suite on what Jim says.

May I suggest you begin with a tire question. That way most all of our lovely lady members will step daintily from their respective captains seats - and virtually all other honorable list members, at least a half dozen or so old curmudgeons, and at least two old reprobates will crawl out from under their vans - all of which are guaranteed to make comment!

Yep, Volks, definitely begin with a tire question. That way you will get to know virtually everyone in this crowd.

Enjoy!!

Regards,

John Rodgers

We are the proud new (but VERY old) owners of an '82 Westfalia camper, gasoline, 4 speed, manual transmission, (not MY favorite, but John loves it!) Bought it yesterday and will have pics available soon. We have named it "Lucky Seven," since this is our 7th Volkswagen Camper. It's been awhile since our last one, so we feel like we're starting all over when it comes to finding all of the stuff we need to make it look like new. I'm sure we will have lots of questions within the next few months, and it looks like we might have come to the right place for some of the answers. > Nana Rose and Grand Dad John > > >
