Bently says a 1985 has a pump under the raised floor section under the sink ( dry pump), my 85 had the submersible pump in the water tank look there first. Bently also says to rinse the water tank with a small amount of baking soda added to keep it sweet. If you wish you can add a few drops of bleach(A 5% solution of chlorine) to the well water as long as you keep the amount of chlorine below 0.5 parts per million, you shouldn't taste it. Personally I recommend drinking the well water, rinsing the tank with baking soda every once in a while. |
