Subject: Re: Expensive Syncro Westie

You Syncro guys are crasy :-) Same stuff here on local mailing list, i understand NOTHING about that "Syncro Trend", but hey, i like when they come to the shop, good money :-)))) and they come often!

Of course it's nice to camp in the wild, or on a beach or for some ligh off road "road trip" (even if a 2WD will follow most of the time)but for 80k, i can buy a lot of cool toys instead, do many trips. As an example: i have been in Baja and the need for a Syncro was... NEVER, i went onto beachs, sandy/rocky off road, desert path. That said, for my next big trip i have decided to tow a Honda 250CC XLR (dual bike) and take this one OFF ROAD for some OFF ROAD fun, park the van near in a nice safe spot and cruise around with the bike.

WHAT IS THE POINT OF BANGING AROUND (off road) A 20yo CAMPER???

Sorry, but 80k is a scam. At most i would accept 50K with a rebuilt trany, VC, axles, front end and a 2.5 Subi, even then, 50 is on the high side.

I have quite a few Syncro customers and friends, they think they are "The Big Boys" in the house. Yea, sure...:-)))

Me i don't understand! as i also don't understand why everyone those days have big 4WD SUV around town????? i call that "Showing off" or "lack of security". My "Mr.Bigtime" neighbor drive a yellow Hummer each day to work... downtown. Yea, very intelligent, not to call that plain stupid.

My 2CAD cent.
