Max, I was having a tough time getting my old CV joints off my old shafts and that's why I just bought a entire new halfshaft. They sold the halfshaft as new and there wasn't a scratch or piece of dirts on it so I'm taking their word for it.

One other thing, after about 50 miles on the road I stopped and felt the shaft area and the side with the new CVs was substaintially warmer that the side with the old shaft.

Thanks, Blake
