hey all,
I noticed over the weekend my driveshaft has developed a leak.  the leak is
coming from the front diff connection.  Apparently according to bentley
there is a seal behind that flange.  so my question is, is this seal prone
to leakage as mine apparently is?  also, is this a PITA job.   Does that
flange have to be pressed in order remove to do the job.  the leak is
actually seapage, i just notice that it has been spraying a perfect range
around that area, looks like something that could go for a while without
immediate maintenance, anyone have this happen on their syncro?  I already
had this front diff shaft housing off when i replaced my vc a couple of
years ago, wish i had the leak then, would have been easier to kill two
birds with one stone.  i imagine i have to remove that front section again
in order to do this job.  any tips would be much appreciated
