Phil, I think we're on the same page, because that sounds like what I'm thinking of. Is that your own design? Do you happen to have a picture showing the jig? Or perhaps a link. Thanks for your quick imput. I'm realling enjoying this list! Nate ----------- I wish I could claim this as my own design..... More of a form-follows-function block of plywood! Works Ok, saves time and allows me to be lazy raising the Van quickly with a minimum of fuss.

The listserve will strip the photos so I cc'ed you Nate. Glad you are enjoying the list, we aim to please.

For scale, the "VAG-01 Lift Assister" is sitting on a common S4S 4X4 Block of well aged West-Coast Red Cedar. The Cedar was way-too valuable to use..... 8-)
