Subject: Re: Intermittent Power Loss Problem
Comments: To: Ray Gromer <raygromer@HOTMAIL.COM>

How your fuel tank/filter doing? This sound like fuel starvation. I have seen that on partially clogued tank.

Could also be a FI related problem, but you have to eliminate the fuel starvation possibility.

------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm having an intermittent problem with my 89 Westy. I've only noticed the problem when I'm driving on the highway. It gradually looses power so it will only go 55 mph on a flat, windless highway. Then, later, it will go 80 on a flat, windless highway.

Suggestions?

Ray 89 MT Westy
