It is not a Syncro by any means, but I have seen this Bus for sale on eB*y at least three times. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1966-Volkswagen-Camping-Microbus_W0QQitemZ280 095990902QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item280095990902 Fancy looking and the only location of vehicle is "United States" however when sending a question to the seller there was a warning that it was being sent to the seller who had listed from another country and there may be a translation issue!

Prices are really all over the place on these. On the SF Bay Area CL, there's a nice 1980 Westy w/rebuilt engine and new top, looks well-cared for, for $1800. That's one thousand, eight hundred. There's also a Syncro Westy with low miles going for $51,000, or over 28 times the price of the 1980. Sure, they're not in the same league, but for 99% of us average campers, the $1800 model will do the same thing as the $51,000 model. And of course there are plenty of other 2WD Westies priced from $3000 to $10,000.

I have trouble understanding what's going in the pricing of these, except I think there may be a large difference between asking price and final sales price. You see the same ones come up again and again, month after month.
