Along these same lines of making your own tools...A garden sprayer and an old brake fluid cap makes a great pressure bleeder. I can dig up the plan for it somewhere if anyone wants them. They are written for a bmw but just subsitute the bmw cap for a vw cap. Makes one man bleed jobs a breeze.
