Hello to the list, I purchased a replacement speedometer cable from Ken at Vanagain. Itıs was one of those bypass single line units. I had the mechanic install it, but after it jumped all over. I had another mechanic look at it and he could not find anything wrong with it. I seems that any speed below 75 it jumps. I am sure something is off as I doubt my van can go 75 but this is what the speedometer says at least. Any ideas on why the cable would be jumping, it basically does a wiggle between 5-10 mph range up to 75 then it stabilizes. The mechanics looked for kinks but they said there are none. Thanks in advance. Robert -- Rob NYC/Long Beach, NY 88 Wolfsburg, Silver http://web.mac.com/rmstewart AIM: rmstewart@mac.com |
