After doing this twice to my 2 84's, I figured it was worth write-up to help others: http://www.oldvolkshome.com/late_van_cluster_install.pdf -- Jim Thompson 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com *********************************** On 3/23/07, BenT Syncro <syncro@gmail.com> wrote: > > On 3/23/07, Paul Guzyk <paullist@guzyk.com> wrote: > > > > Anyone got the definitive answer on what years/models tachs were > standard > > in? > > > Paul, > > I don't believe there is a one catch all year where the tachs were > standard. > It's probably safe to say a majority of the 86-91 US spec GL models had > tachs.
