Their running the generator during the day to charge up the batteries so everyone can sleep at night. A number if the larger RVs are becoming "All Electric". Even electric stoves and residential style refrigerators. This is in part due to all the restrictions and safety concerns with propane. These rely heavily on large battery banks and inverters and batteries need time to charge. As one of those folks with a large RV, if our generator is bothering you, approach us and let us know. We can usually work it out. Usually, when dry camping such as Nascar events etc, the non generator neighbors will ask for power for lights or TV and that can make some very happy. I also use one of those exhaust extenders to get the noise and fumes up and over the roof line.
