A Vanagon can certsinly "town" a trailer if given enough motivation. You can always take a Vanagon post office hightop and put the horsey inside. Face the big guy backwards. Throw feed bucket on the engine cover and voila -- two horse condo. I would consider towing the Vanagon with another as the front seat may become your new passengers' porta-potti.
